(赵君、Open AI/华盛顿报导) 2022年12月3日，大华府浙江大学校友会“金融经济职业发展沙龙-第14期求是论坛。地点在Potomac Community Recreation Center的Potomac Community Room。这是校友会近年来第一次举办金融、经济专业校友聚会。本次沙龙由校友会理事汪蓉、李浩、陈瀛铂、赵佳琦等负责筹划，校友会副会长刘斌负责技术支持，开通了ZOOM现场直播，据悉现场和线上大约有近50名观众参加，徐妙副会长带领CYOC小义工维护现场。

这次沙龙由KPMG的senior director汪蓉校友担任嘉宾主持，我们还邀请了IMF的高级经济学家周建平校友，Freddie mac的Vice president & assistant general auditor Kathy Sheng校友，GWU商学院副教授吕一欣校友，以及entagile llc联合创始人Victor Wang校友。

在沙龙开始，大华府浙江大学校友会会长赵君博士致欢迎词，他首先感谢嘉宾前来分享，并宣读了免责声明。随后，由汪蓉校友主持的嘉宾问答环节经常开展。各位嘉宾就职业选择、职业中的机遇、困境以及行业发展的趋势等问题进行了热火朝天的讨论。随后，李浩副会长主持了听众问答环节，很多校友、校友子女以及各届朋友纷纷提问，向嘉宾请教，和嘉宾共同讨论。令人惊奇的是，还有一位从特拉华州开车3个小时赶来的学生，她精心准备了关于求职相关的问题，还携带简历前来，各位嘉宾一一回答了她的疑问，对她的这种职业精神和执行力表示非常赞赏。

最后，我们邀请了前会长，大专联现任会长吕萍博士致辞，她发表了感人至深的讲话，对本次论坛的圆满举办表示祝贺。2个半小时后，沙龙准时结束，但是听众仍依依不舍的围绕着嘉宾交流，校友会理事们和CYOC小义工的帮助下收拾好了会议室。在此，我们对各位嘉宾、义工以及观众表示诚挚的感谢！

On December 3, 2022, the Zhejiang University Alumni Association of D.C.(ZUAA_DC) hosted the “Finance and Economics Career Development Salon-14th Chiu Shih Forum” at the Potomac Community Recreation Center. This is the first financial and economic professional alumni gathering organized by the alumni association in recent years. The salon is planned by the association’s directors Wang Rong, Li Hao, Chen Yingbo, Zhao Jiaqi, etc., and the vice president of the association, Liu Bin, is responsible for technical support. The live ZOOM broadcast has been opened, and it is reported that there are approximately 50 audience members attending both on-site and online. Vice President Xu Miao leads the CYOC volunteers to maintain the on-site situation.

This salon is hosted by KPMG’s senior director, Wang Rong. We also invited IMF’s senior economist, Zhou Jianping, Freddie Mac’s vice president & assistant general auditor, Kathy Sheng, GWU School of Business’s associate professor, Lv Yixin, and entagile llc’s co-founder, Victor Wang as the guests of honor.

At the beginning of the salon, Dr. Zhao Jun, president of the Zhejiang University Alumni Association of D.C., delivered a welcome speech. He thanked the guests of honor for their participation and read the disclaimer. Then, the guest Q&A session hosted by Wang Rong was held. The guests discussed topics such as career choices, opportunities and challenges in their careers, and industry trends. Afterwards, Vice President Li Hao hosted the audience Q&A session, where many alumni, alumni’s children and friends asked questions and discussed with the guests. Surprisingly, there was also a student who drove for 3 hours from Delaware, who prepared questions about job hunting and brought her resume. The guests answered her questions one by one and greatly appreciated her professional spirit and execution.

Finally, we invited the former president and the current president of the Chinese Alumni Associations of Greater Washington (CAAGW), Dr. Lu Ping, to give a speech. She gave a heartfelt speech and congratulated the successful forum. After two and a half hours, the salon ended on time, but the audience was reluctant to leave and continued to communicate with the guests. With the help of the association’s directors and CYOC volunteers, the conference room was cleaned up. Here, we express our sincere thanks to all the guests, volunteers and audience!
